We want to wish you all a happy and healthy Holiday Season!  This has been a December to remember…. the snow is very picturesque over here at Ocean Meadow; it’s coming down full force right now.  There is no  doubt that we’ll be enjoying a white Christmas.    Stay happy, healthy and safe and we’ll see you in the New Year.

Well, we made it through our first winter “event”.  What a storm it was.  So many communities were affected by the power outages.  This past weekend wasn’t so easy for a lot of communities, dealing with downed trees and power lines.  We take so much for granted on a day to day basis that something like this devestating storm puts a lot into perspective.  So many people were without power and some still are!  We lost power at Ocean Meadow for two days.  Most of our homeowners “toughed it out” and stayed home, while others went to stay with family and friends.  Let’s all stay focused on the upcoming holiday season and be greatful for all that we have.  Spending time with our friends and family are our most cherished times.

The Bald Eagles are coming back to Newburyport!   In February, when everything else is cold and asleep for the winter, the Newburyport area along the river is alive with the spectacular sight of wintering Bald Eagles flying, fishing and sitting in the sun.    At the Eagle Festival, February 14th, your local bird experts find the birds, answers questions, and  offer special events to eagle fans all day long:    Check the Chambers of Commerce website @ www.newburyportchamber.org for more details.   Is anyone intersted in attending together?

Our annual Holiday Open House was yesterday.   In addition to all of our homeowners, the turnout was tremendous; we had at least 30 people attend!  We all enjoyed food from Henry’s Market in Beverly, MA as well has warm cider, egg nog and holiday cheer.  If you couldn’t attend, that’s OK, watch our website and blog for upcoming events.  Hope to see you all in the New Year.
